Budecel Respule belongs to a group of medicines called steroids. It is used to treat moderate to severe ulcerative colitis. It helps relieve pain and inflammation caused by the condition.Budecel Respule can be taken with or without food. To get maximum benefit of the medicine, take it regularly and at the fixed time of each day. Do not discontinue taking the medication without talking to your doctor as it may worsen your symptoms.Budecel Respule may cause few common side effects such as mood changes or stomach upset. Taking Budecel Respule can also make it harder for you to fight off infections. Tell your doctor if you have any signs of infection such as fever or sore throat.


Alcohol: It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Budecel Respule. Pregnancy: Budecel Respule may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor. Breastfeeding: Budecel Respule is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby. Driving: It is not known whether Budecel Respule alters the ability to drive. If Forget: If you miss a dose of Budecel Respule, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Budecel Respule is a steroid. It works by blocking the production of certain chemical messengers that cause the inner surface of the large intestine (colon and rectum) to become ulcerated and inflamed (swollen) resulting in pain.

You should drink plenty of fluids while taking on treatment with this medicine to make sure you stay hydrated.
