Nitrotap Applicap is a medicine used in the prevention of angina (chest pain). It works by relaxing and widening blood vessels so blood can flow more easily. This improves blood flow and reduces the symptoms associated with angina (chest pain).Nitrotap Applicap is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Read the package insert for complete information. Gently apply the ointment onto the selected skin area. Spread it evenly in a thin layer using a clean finger. Do not get it into your mouth, eyes, or nose. In case of accidental contact, rinse it off thoroughly with clean water.This medicine is generally well tolerated with minimal or no side effects. However, if you experience any symptoms which you feel is caused by the medicine, let your doctor know. They may be able to help you by changing your dosage or by prescribing you an alternate medicine.before using Nitrotap Applicap, let your doctor know if you are taking any medicines to treat high blood pressure in your lungs (pulmonary hypertension), or any other medical conditions.
