Capiclav Dry Syrup is an antibiotic that helps your body fight infections caused by bacteria. It is used to treat infections of the lungs (e.g., pneumonia), ear, nasal sinus, urinary tract, skin, and soft tissue. It will not work for viral infections such as the common cold.Capiclav Dry Syrup is best taken with a meal to reduce the chance of a stomach upset. You should take it regularly at evenly spaced intervals as per the schedule prescribed by your doctor. Taking it at the same time daily will help you remember to take it. The dose will depend on what you are being treated for, but you should always complete an entire course of this antibiotic as your doctor prescribes. Please do not stop taking it until you have finished, even when you feel better. If you stop taking it early, some bacteria may survive, and the infection may return or worsen.The most common side effects of Capiclav Dry Syrup include nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, fungal infections of the mouth, skin fold or vagina, skin rashes, and vaginitis. Alcohol: Consuming alcohol with Capiclav Dry Syrup does not cause any harmful side effects. Pregnancy: Capiclav Dry Syrup is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies. Breastfeeding: Capiclav Dry Syrup is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby. Driving: Capiclav Dry Syrup may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive.Capiclav Dry Syrup may cause side effects such as allergic reactions, dizziness or fits that may make you unfit to drive. If Forget: If you miss a dose of Capiclav Dry Syrup, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and return to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
