Alcohol: It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Xtrapred 0.25% Drop. Pregnancy: Xtrapred 0.25% Drop may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor. Breastfeeding: Xtrapred 0.25% Drop is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby. Driving: Xtrapred 0.25% Drop may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur. Kidney: Xtrapred 0.25% Drop is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Xtrapred 0.25% Drop is recommended.However, inform your doctor if you have any kidney disease as careful dose selection and regular monitoring of kidney function tests are advised while you are taking this medicine. Liver: Xtrapred 0.25% Drop should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Xtrapred 0.25% Drop may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
