Seek your doctor's advice as studies on pregnant women and animals have shown significant harmful effects to the developing baby. Breastfeeding: Depo-Provera Injection is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.Nonhormonal contraceptives are preferred in breastfeeding women, especially during the first 4 weeks postpartum Driving: Depo-Provera Injection may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur. Kidney: There is limited information available on the use of Depo-Provera Injection in patients with kidney disease. Please consult your doctor. Liver: Depo-Provera Injection is probably unsafe to use in patients with liver disease and should be avoided. Please consult your doctor.
