Metocan 5mg Syrup is a prescription medicine used to treat nausea, vomiting, indigestion, and heartburn. Alcohol: It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Metocan 5mg Syrup. Pregnancy: Metocan 5mg Syrup is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies. Breastfeeding: Metocan 5mg Syrup is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby. Driving: Metocan 5mg Syrup may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive.Metocan 5mg Syrup may cause drowsiness, dizziness, dyskinesia and dystonias which could affect the vision and may interfere with the ability to drive. Kidney: Metocan 5mg Syrup should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Metocan 5mg Syrup may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
