Ulpride 25 Tablet is used in the treatment of gastric problems like nausea, vomiting, heartburn, or indigestion. It also prevents acid reflux (acid going up to the food pipe) and hence helps in the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD).Ulpride 25 Tablet is taken by mouth with or without food. However, it is advisable to take it at the same time each day as this helps to maintain consistent level of medicine in the body. Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor and if you have missed a dose, take it as soon as you remember. Some common side effects of this medicine includes headache and fatigue. It also causes dizziness and sleepiness, so do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medicine affects you. You should immediately consult doctor if you have absence of periods, abnormal milk secretion, changes in sexual desire, or fever after taking this medicine.


Alcohol: It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Ulpride 25 Tablet. Pregnancy: Ulpride 25 Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Please consult your doctor. Breastfeeding: Ulpride 25 Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby. Driving: Ulpride 25 Tablet may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive.Ulpride 25 Tablet may cause drowsiness, numbness, or dyskinesias, therefore they should be advised to avoid driving and operations requiring supervision. Kidney: There is limited information available on the use of Ulpride 25 Tablet in patients with kidney disease. Please consult your doctor. If Forget: If you miss a dose of Ulpride 25 Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
