Psyfax-DS Tablet ER is a prescription medicine used in the treatment of depression. This medicine helps by increasing the level of chemical messengers (serotonin and noradrenaline) in the brain that have a calming effect on the brain and relaxes the nerves, thus treating your depression.Psyfax-DS Tablet ER is taken by mouth with or without food. Take it at a fixed time each day to maintain consistent level of medicine in the blood. In case you have missed a dose, take it as soon as you remember. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. It is important that this medication is not stopped suddenly without talking to doctor as this may worsen your symptoms. If Forget: If you miss a dose of Psyfax-DS Tablet ER, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
