Oxflin 100mg Tablet is an antibiotic that helps treat bacterial infections. It is used in treating infections of the urinary tract, nose, throat, skin and soft tissues, and lungs (pneumonia). It cures the infection by stopping the further growth of the causative bacteria.Oxflin 100mg Tablet should be used in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Take it with or without food, preferably at a fixed time. Avoid skipping any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better.You may experience nausea and stomach pain as the side effects of this medicine. These are usually temporary and resolve on their own, but do consult your doctor if they bother you or persist for a longer duration. Diarrhea may also occur as a side effect but should stop when your course is complete. Inform your doctor if it does not stop or if you find blood in your stools.You should not take this medicine if you are allergic to any of its ingredients. Rarely, some people may have a severe allergic reaction that needs urgent medical attention. Signs of this include rash, swelling of the lips, tongue, or face, shortness of breath, or breathing problems. Let your doctor know if you have a history of kidney disease.


Alcohol: It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Oxflin 100mg Tablet. Pregnancy: Oxflin 100mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor. Breastfeeding: Oxflin 100mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby. Driving: Oxflin 100mg Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur. Kidney: Oxflin 100mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Oxflin 100mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Liver: Oxflin 100mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Oxflin 100mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

If Forget: If you miss a dose of Oxflin 100mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
