Lineid Tablet is an antibiotic medicine used in the treatment of severe bacterial infections. It is used to treat infections of the lungs (pneumonia), skin, and soft tissues.Lineid Tablet may be taken with or without food, preferably at a fixed time. You should take it regularly as per the schedule prescribed by your doctor. Taking it at the same time every day will help you to remember to take it. Do not stop taking it until you have finished the complete course, even when you feel better. If you stop taking this medicine too early then infection may return or worsen.The most common side effects of Lineid Tablet include vomiting, headache, nausea, decreased blood cell counts, and diarrhea. These are usually mild but let your doctor know if they bother you or last more than a few days.Before using it, you should tell your doctor if you are allergic to any antibiotics or have any kidney or liver problems. You should also let your doctor know all other medicines you are taking as they may affect, or be affected by this medicine. Pregnant and breastfeeding mothers should consult their doctor before using it.


Alcohol: It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Lineid Tablet. Pregnancy: Lineid Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor. Breastfeeding: Lineid Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby. Driving: Lineid Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur. Kidney: Lineid Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Lineid Tablet is recommended.However, talk to your doctor if you have any underlying kidney disease. Liver: Lineid Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe liver disease. Dose adjustment of Lineid Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Limited information is available on the use of Lineid Tablet in these patients. No dose adjustment is recommended in patients with mild to moderate liver disease.

If Forget: If you miss a dose of Lineid Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Lineid Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.Avoid Lineid Tablet with tyramine-rich food such as cheese, smoked fish, meats and some types of beer.
