Lacoron 100mg Tablet is used to control and prevent epilepsy (seizures). It controls seizures or fits by decreasing the abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells in the brain.Lacoron 100mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, preferably at the same time, each day. If you have missed a dose, take it as soon as you remember as it can be life-threatening in some cases, so it is better to keep an extra stock always to avoid a missed dose. You should finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better and always consult your doctor before stopping this medicine as it may increase seizure frequency. Inform your doctor if you have any heart-related problems, before starting your treatment with this medicine.The use of this medicine may cause some side effects such as headaches, dizziness, dry mouth, muscle spasms, blurred vision, nausea, diplopia (double vision). Most of these side effects are self-limiting and they usually improve with time. Keep a watch on your weight, as using this medicine can cause weight gain. Eat healthily and exercise regularly to manage it.


Alcohol: Caution is advised when consuming alcohol with Lacoron 100mg Tablet. Please consult your doctor. Pregnancy: Lacoron 100mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor. Breastfeeding: Lacoron 100mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby. Driving: Lacoron 100mg Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur. If Forget: If you miss a dose of Lacoron 100mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.\n
