Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Evocain Syrup is to be taken empty stomach.
Evocain Syrup is a combination of a local anesthetic (Oxetacaine) and two antacids (Aluminium Hydroxide and Magnesium). The anesthetic provides fast relief from pain due to ulcers or acidic injury in the stomach on account of its numbing effect. The antacids neutralize the excess acid in stomach, thereby relieving acidity and heartburn.

Continue taking it for as long as the doctor may advise you to. You need to take this medicine regularly to get the most out of it. Evocain Syrup reduces the amount of acid your stomach makes which prevents further damage to the ulcer as it heals naturally.
