Cfur 125mg Tablet effectively treats bacterial infections of the ear, nose, throat, lungs, skin, soft tissues, bones, joints, and urinary tract in children. It is also given to prevent infection in animal and human bite wounds and may also be given before surgical procedures as a preventive therapy.Cfur 125mg Tablet can be given either before or after meals but giving it with food improves absorption and reduces the chances of stomach upset in your child. The dose and duration depend upon the type and severity of the infection, so stick to the dose, time, and way prescribed by the doctor. If your child vomits within 30 minutes of the intake, give the same dose again but do not double dose if it is already time for the next dose.This medicine may have some minor and temporary side effects such as vomiting, diarrhea, nausea, abdominal pain, allergy, and transient increased in liver enzyme. These episodes should start receding after a few doses. However, if these side effects persist or become bothersome for your child, report to the doctor without any delay.Narrate your child’s complete medical history to your child’s doctor, including any previous episode of allergy, heart problem, a blood disorder, birth defects, airway obstruction, lung anomaly, gastrointestinal problem, skin disorder, liver impairment, and kidney malfunction. Alcohol: Consuming alcohol with Cfur 125mg Tablet does not cause any harmful side effects. Pregnancy: Cfur 125mg Tablet is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies. Breastfeeding: Cfur 125mg Tablet is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby.Avoid prolonged use of Cfur 125mg Tablet, since it may have possible effects such as rash and diarrhea. Driving: Not relevant, as Cfur 125mg Tablet is intended for use in hospitalised patients. Kidney: Cfur 125mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Cfur 125mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Liver: Cfur 125mg Tablet is safe to use in patients with liver disease. No dose adjustment of Cfur 125mg Tablet is recommended.However, consult your child's doctor before giving Cfur 125mg Tablet to your child in case of a severe form of liver disease.

If Forget: Unless your child’s doctor has advised a specific regime for your child, you can give the missed dose as soon as you remember. Skip the missed dose if it is almost time for the next dose. Do not give the double dose to catch up and follow the prescribed dosing schedule.
