Diflumac 0.05% Oral Drops is a steroid. It is used in the treatment of pain and swelling in the eyes caused by infection or allergy after eye surgery. It works by preventing the release of substances in the body that cause inflammation.Diflumac 0.05% Oral Drops is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by the doctor. If you wear contact lenses, remove them before using the eye drop and wait at least 15 minutes before putting your lenses back in. Refrain touching the tip of the dropper to any surface to avoid contaminating the eye drop. You should not discontinue using the medicine unless your doctor tells you so. Stopping the medication before time may allow the bacteria to continue their growth, which may result in return of the infection.Using Diflumac 0.05% Oral Drops may cause burning sensation, irritation, or blur the vision temporarily.
