Endoprost 125mcg Injection is a medicine used to control excessive bleeding from the uterus, that may occur after the childbirth. It stimulates contraction of the uterine muscles thus, helps to control post-delivery bleeding.Endoprost 125mcg Injection is given as an injection deep into the muscles under the medical supervision of a doctor. It is only given at the hospital setting, so do not self- administer the medicine.The most common side effects of this medicine include vomiting, flushing, headache, and chills. If these bother you or appear serious, let your doctor know. There may be ways of reducing or preventing them. If you notice dizziness, avoid driving or attention-seeking activity.Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have ever had heart disease, or you have high or low blood pressure, or have liver or kidney disease. Your doctor should also know about all other medicines you are taking as many of these may make this medicine less effective or change the way it works. Always remember, it is only giver after delivery not during pregnancy.
