Ceftraphy Injection is an antibiotic belonging to the cephalosporin group, which is used to treat bacterial infections in your body. It is effective in infections of the brain (e.g., meningitis), lungs (e.g., pneumonia), ear, urinary tract, skin & soft tissues, bones & joints, blood, and heart.Ceftraphy Injection may also be used to prevent infections during surgery. Alcohol: Consuming alcohol with Ceftraphy Injection does not cause any harmful side effects. Pregnancy: Ceftraphy Injection is safe to use during pregnancy. Most studies have shown low or no risk to the developing baby. Breastfeeding: Ceftraphy Injection should be used with caution during breastfeeding. Breastfeeding should be held until the treatment of the mother is completed and the drug is eliminated from her body. Driving: Ceftraphy Injection may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur. Kidney: Ceftraphy Injection is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Ceftraphy Injection is recommended.However, inform your doctor if you have any underlying kidney disease. Liver: Ceftraphy Injection should be used with caution in patients with severe liver disease. Dose adjustment of Ceftraphy Injection may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Dose adjustment of Ceftraphy Injection is not recommended in patients with mild to moderate liver disease.
