Maxvoid S 8mg/5mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines used in the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia. It helps relax the muscle of the urinary bladder and prostate gland. This way it helps relieve symptoms like difficulty in passing urine, nighttime urination, and sudden urge to urinate.Maxvoid S 8mg/5mg Tablet may be taken with or without food. You should take it regularly at evenly spaced intervals as per the schedule prescribed by your doctor. Taking it at the same time every day will help you remember to take it. The dose and duration of treatment will depend on the severity of your condition. Do not stop taking the medicine suddenly. Take it for as long as the doctor has prescribed for maximum benefits.The most common side effects of this medicine include ejaculation disorders, headache, dizziness, diarrhea, nasal congestion, orthostatic hypotension, and cognitive disorders. If you experience any such side effects, ask your doctor about ways of reducing or preventing them.Before taking this medicine, inform your doctor if you have low blood pressure, liver, or kidney disease. Breastfeeding: Maxvoid S 8mg/5mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. If Forget: If you miss a dose of Maxvoid S 8mg/5mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
