Flur Eye Drop is a prescription medicine used in the treatment of eye pain. It relieves redness and swelling of the eye and provides temporary relief from burning and discomfort caused by various conditions.Flur Eye Drop is to be used only in the affected eye in the dose and duration as advised by the doctor. Wash your hands before using this medicine. It is advised to check the label for directions before use. Flur Eye Drop is a combination of two medicines: flurbiprofen, hydroxypropylmethylcellulose and phenyl mercuric nitrate. Flurbiprofen is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling). Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose is a lubricating formulation similar to natural tears. It provides temporary relief of burning and discomfort due to dryness of the eye.
